Aníbal López
I am an Organizational Psychologist and currently an Assistant Professor and Researcher in Management at ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management. My research focuses on advancing scientific knowledge in applied psychology, particularly in entrepreneurship, employee intrapreneurship, workplace proactivity, and strategic people management. To achieve this, I integrate multiple disciplines, fostering dialogue and knowledge exchange that might otherwise remain siloed. I see science as a collective effort rather than an individual achievement. That’s why I actively seek collaboration with scholars from diverse backgrounds, embracing an interdisciplinary approach that sparks innovative thinking and leads to a deeper understanding of management phenomena. My research has been published in top-tier journals, including the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Applied Psychology, and the Journal of Small Business Management

During my career, I have taught courses on Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Organizational Behavior, and General Management at various levels, including Undergraduate, Master’s, Ph.D., and Executive Education. I have consistently received above-average teaching evaluations and was ranked among the top 3% of highest-rated instructors at NOVA School of Business and Economics for the 2018–2020 triennium.

Very clear, friendly, and competent professor, always willing to help. Despite the course having a lot of theoretical content, the professor manages to make the class as engaging as possible by using videos, examples, and classroom discussions. As a result, I was able to follow along and understand the subject in an easy and enjoyable way throughout the semester. Nothing negative to point out.
At the beginning the speach disability led me to be distracted sometimes, but as time goes by you just forget it and can focus on what he is saying rather than the how he is saying and he was very coherent and knew what he was talking about.
